Jesse K. Black is a new media artist focused on environmental acoustics, digital photography, and data visualization. Through these mediums, his work aims to understand the human experience, it’s relationship with time, nature, and how we might preserve and archive that experience. His work is process-driven and emphasizes equipment that’s used to gather information, viewing cameras, microphones, and software environments as tools that when used together can offer new perspectives.

Jesse is a Dolby Atmos certified audio engineer, photographer, and technician based in Kansas City, MO. He is currently the Studio Manager and Technical Director at Phosphor Studio.
